Ear Lobe (Single / Double)
The most popular and gentlest piercing to start with, the ear lobe is soft tissue with good blood flow, which means it heals faster than any other ear placement — typically within 6 to 8 weeks. We offer single lobe piercings as well as double lobe piercings for clients who want a stacked look. This is also the placement we recommend for first-time piercings and for children.
Cartilage / Helix / Forward Helix
Cartilage piercings sit on the firmer, upper part of the ear rather than the soft lobe, which means they take longer to heal and carry a slightly higher sensation during piercing. The helix is placed on the outer upper rim of the ear, while the forward helix sits closer to the face, on the cartilage nearest your cheek. These placements are popular for building a curated, stacked ear look over time.
